Wool & Cotton Twist Yarn

A twisted yarn comprised of wool and cotton, on cones for machine knitting.

This yarn adds cotton to wool to bring the best qualities of each to one yarn: the breathability and airiness of organic cotton, mixed with the softness and temperature-regulating properties of the lambswool.

This yarn is trans-seasonal: because the cotton helps keep you cool, the wool is now an option for the warmer months. An ideal yarn for garments for late summer evenings, or for cosy loungewear for winter.

The cotton and wool are dyed seperately then twisted together, creating a unique blend. This gives a speckled, irregular patterning to the finished knitting.
