This Italian-spun Merino yarn has a similar thickness to our British-spun Fine Lambswool, which is also spun from Merino fleece, but once knitted the results are very different. Our Merino yarn has a surprising drape and sheen once knitted, lending itself to more elegant knitwear such as loose-fitting cardigans, shawls and knitted dresses, reflecting its Italian origin.
You do need to be careful washing it as it felts very easily - so hand wash only!
