The Intermediate classes build on the knowledge learnt at the beginners class, and are designed for you to learn a number of more intermediate level knitting techniques, with plenty of time to practice and experiment.
For the Intermediate classes, learners need to have attended the Beginners class, or already have sufficient knowledge in using the knitting machine.
In the Structures Class we learn:
How Tuck and Slip stitch techniques works on a knitting machine
Tuck punchcard patterns
Slip punchcard patterns
Experimental freehand tuck and slip stitch patterns
Striping fun colours and yarns to create colourful patterns
You will take away a range of samples you have made to practice and learn from.
We use Brother knitting machines on the course. All equipment and yarns will be provided, along with technical notes to take home, with instructions for everything we've covered in the class.
