Flurex Yarn

Flurex! A florescent lurex yarn on cones for machine knitting.

This brightly coloured fine yarn adds a flash of neon brightness when knitted alongside another yarn.

This is a supported lurex yarn, formed by wrapping metallic ribbon of lurex around a strong polyfilament core, so it's stronger than an unsupported lurex yarn and therefore suitable for machine knitting. It's the look of this yarn that makes it stand out, and you can mix it with another yarn to add a softer texture.
