Eucalyptus Yarn

Eucalyptus Yarn is part of our range of yarns made from special plant-based materials, on cones for machine knitting.

Eucalyptus Yarn is made from eucalyptus trees with the Lyocell process, which was developed as a more environmentally friendly alternative to the viscose process.

This yarn uses 95% less water than cotton and no pesticides are required. This yarn also contains some kapok (a sort of tree cotton).

It has a slight shine, an irregular structure, soft to the touch and has antibacterial properties. This is an undyed ecru coloured yarn; try dyeing it yourself with dyes suitable for plant-based fibres like cotton and viscose.
