This is a 5 day course teaching you how to use Dubied industrial knitting machines.
Whether you’re an absolute beginner or looking to refresh your skills, the Dubied Industrial Knitting Machine Course will give you a firm grounding in the basics of knitting with a Dubied industrial machine. The course requires no previous knowledge of knitwear or knitting machinery.
You will gain an understanding of how the machine works, what it can do, and how to safely set up and work with the machine. We give you intensive, comprehensive instruction, with plenty of time to practice and experiment lots of different techniques.
All equipment and yarns will be provided, along with technical notes with instructions to go with your class.
We will be covering a number of different industrial machine knitting techniques and using a variety of different gauge machines. You will have the opportunity to use a 12gg, 10gg, 8gg, 7gg and 2.5gg Dubied knitting machine, resulting in different scale and thickness of fabric.
