Accessory Making Class: How to Knit Mittens

In this How to Knit Mittens class we learn how to knit mittens on a single bed domestic knitting machine.

Techniques include following a pattern with instructions, hems, shaping and attaching. This accessory making class builds on the knowledge learnt at the beginners class, and is designed for you to learn a number of more intermediate level knitting techniques, with plenty of time to practice and experiment.

For these accessory making classes, learners need to have attended the Beginners class, or already have sufficient knowledge in using the knitting machine.

You will take away a completed (or nearly complete) mitten, and the skills to complete the pair.

We use Brother knitting machines on the course. All equipment and yarns will be provided, along with technical notes to take home, with instructions for everything we've covered in the class.
