Come and master the Dubied industrial knitting machine.

Maybe you’re a knitwear student going into your final year, and you want to build your confidence on the Dubied. Maybe you’ve graduated and feel that knowing the Dubied would help your career. Whether you’re a complete beginner to machine knitting or you’re looking to refresh your skills, our 5 day intensive course will give you a firm grounding in knitting with the Dubied.

As we’ve covered in past videos, knowing the Dubied is a key skill in the fashion knitwear industry. If you can knit on the Dubied you can take full control of your own fabric development, testing techniques, yarns and colour combinations, and make swatches to send to the factory.

And the techniques and terminology of the Dubied, map onto computerised industrial machines, so you’ll gain the technical understanding you’ll need to effectively work with factories.

There are still a few spaces on the next Knit Works London Dubied Industrial course. It’s an intensive 5 day course running from Tuesday 19th to Saturday 23rd of August.

You will gain an understanding of how the machine works, what it can do, and how to safely set up and work with the machine. We give you intensive, comprehensive instruction, with plenty of time to practice and experiment lots of different techniques. And you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of different gauge machines, from chunky to fine gauge.

All equipment and yarns will be provided, along with technical notes with instructions to go with your class, and you’ll get a certificate at the end!
